As Director of Activities and Communications for DragonRidge Country Club, I am eager to wish everyone in our community a very Happy New Year, and to let you know we have exciting events in store for you in 2021!!
First, please know our hearts go out to all who have been impacted physically or financially this past year by COVID-19. While it was a challenging year for individuals and businesses, a few bright spots emerged. We saw Nevadans step up to help one another in countless ways, we rediscovered the necessity of community and human interaction, and we learned new ways of operating while mitigating potential health risks.
Fortunately, we have wide open spaces in our community – such as the DragonRidge driving range – that allow us to hold exciting events where MacDonald Highlands residents can enjoy wonderful entertainment while keeping a safe, comfortable social distance. Some of the events we are already planning for MacDonald Highlands in 2021 include the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, The Fall Festival, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Santa’s Visit and more. These community events are always free of charge and open to all members of the community. Whatever curveballs the future may hold, we are confident we will be able to adapt and provide terrific entertainment.
In closing, you have undoubtedly noticed that development in our gated community is moving along at a record pace. We are excited to announce that the popularity of MacDonald Highlands was just recognized in the Review Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Poll, which awarded MacDonald Highlands the Bronze Medal for “Best Master Planned Community” in southern Nevada. DragonRidge Country Club also was honored in the Best of Las Vegas Poll, winning the Gold Medal for “Best Golf Course” in southern Nevada, and the Bronze for “Best Place to Get Married.” As we continue to grow, we enthusiastically look forward to what will surely be a dynamic 2021 in MacDonald Highlands.
